I went to S&J Motors, Church Road, Teddington, near Richmond, to book my car to be checked over, as I was getting a red warning light coming on.

"It doesn't sound a problem" the mechanic said. "Why don't you bring it in now."

I took the car round and he found that something needed topping up. He didn't charge me - so I gave him some cash for a drink.
