... so we were talking about erm ah ...
I saw a programme last night 'Download Sex', on late night Channel Five, which had a feature on nerve.com, a New York based online magazine about erm ah - I'm English and I don't talk about these things.
There was a very funny clip about an American artist that had developed a solar powered moving sculpture, which was erm a plastic vagina, being penetrated by a plastic penis. He set it up on the pavement and got the usually feisty New Yorker comments. In London we would all have walked past as if nothing was happening or the artist would have been beaten up by an old lady with an umbrella. He then took the 'installation' to a couple of galleries, where the main interest was the work being solar powered.
Interspersed with unexplained clips of woman suffering from asthma attacks and a cartoon suggesting that making love could take place where the man slides naked down the banister, followed by the woman, also naked. I was shocked. Nowhere in the piece were any words of warning. Sliding naked down a set of banisters is very dangerous, particularly for a man. Testicle burn is no laughing matter, nor are splinters. This activity can only work with properly polished banisters. (How to Polish Wood).
There was then a most horrendous example of harassed workers. Two women quite deliberately putting their hands down the front of a man's trousers in the most blatant example of sexual harassment I have ever seen. Minimal lunch being provided on the breasts of a large lady - cannot they not afford plates and I know in Denmark this would be against their food hygiene regulations. Woman so badly paid that they could hardly afford to buy clothing. People lying and sleeping on the same desk - obviously worked too hard. And all this being videoed - shocking.
